Bottom line, this guy above is what it's all about, but go ahead and read on stranger..................
This is the campsite, just northeast of Big Rapids, Michigan. There are a couple of newer campsites further down in the woods that are used mostly for relaxation and R&R during the summer months. Those campsites are vacated in the weeks before rifle deer season and the above campsite becomes the active deer camp. We're just off the road here so the majority of the woods is dedicated to hunting space. This property has been actively hunted, rifle deer season annually since about 1984, bow season on and off since then, depending on the whim of the hunters, muzzleloader hunted also dependent on the whim of the hunters.

Satelite view - you can clearly see the bog and the finger of
woods/brush that goes out into Freddie's field. Can't see
the camp for the trees.

It's all about having a good time with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors and camaraderie (look it up) and the hunt. As you can see, this is November 1997, cousins Tamara, Bob Jr, John III, Tamara got a shot at a deer, can't remember if Bob or John did or not that year.

Check it out, the deer have been looking for acorns to feed on, there was a bumper crop last summer, winter 2014-15, pic taken in January 2015.
3 views, new blind Bob built where grandpa's old blind used to be. You can see Bob's trailer at the campsite in the upper right corner of the pic of the front of the blind. Check the drawing of the property to see just where this blind sits.

Door and interior of the new blind. Bob says he's going to add covering next year (2016) to the outside of the blind. Black tar paper will keep out the wind and make it nice and cozy in the sun, perfect for naps, looks good as it is.

Shooting lane for the new blind. All ready for the next oldest grandpa to use next fall (deer season 2016). The blind was built in Bob's garage, disassembled, and put back together at the woods, last part of the season 2015. Can you believe it's December 5th, 2015, 47 degrees, when these pix were taken.
